ABOUT ME

I took to camera much later in life. Starting as a naturalist taking wildlife camps for children, then moving on to do a Masters degree in Wildlife biology and Conservation; I have a deep knowledge about species behaviour and ecosystem functioning. I spent three years in the Lakshadweep Islands in the Indian Ocean studying how global warming affects coral reef recovery, before I moved to filming wildlife on a full time basis. You can see my work in the section below.

I have technical expertise in long lens sequence building (Red Helium, Varicam 35 + Canon CN20), Gimbal operation (Ronin S2), drone operation (DJI Inspire 2) and underwater filming (GH5 with Nauticam housing).

I also run a seafood initiative called ‘Know Your Fish’ which is an ocean friendly initiative that helps seafood consumers choose their fish based on breeding cycles of fish. It introduced the first ever seafood calendar for the country and has been very well received.

Back at home, I rescue snakes, birds and other wildlife.

I enjoy CrossFit and train everyday. I love cats and coffee (preferably pour over).
